Hi Eddie. I think you've read too much into the story. The woman was easy to identify as non-Jewish. She called Jesus exactly who he was, and he is the son of David to everyone, Jew or Gentile. She wasn't lying; she told the truth, showed her great faith, and had her prayer granted. No hypocrisy here.
