Hi EP. Another well written piece. I do believe that we have to be balanced. Some slaves were captured but many were sold by their own chiefs. I am Canadian but I don't know of any American who wants to pretend that the slave trade didn't happen. Even when I watch the right wing news, they acknowledge slavery and its ills. Am I missing something?
