Huh! Melodie, I didn't say anything about people who question. That's your own strawman. The bible calls scoffers evil. If by questioners you mean people who are genuinely seeking the truth and are willing to debate with an open mind, they aren't evil. They also aren't scoffers. Scoffers mock, deride, call believers stupid, and the word of God rubbish. That's evil.

It is true that some have used fear and abuse to keep believers in line and that is a sad stain on the faith. I hope no one sees that in my post.
