It is tough on social media to truly engage. In reality, if someone spews hatred, I would try to find out why they believe the way they do, even if directed a me, a black man. People aren't born hateful. What happened to you? Why do you believe that? When talking face-to-face you find they can't articulate logical reasons for their hatred. As you say it's ignorance. Social media allows cowards a voice.
