Why Israel’s Bombing of Gaza Won’t Change Anything

What happened in Israel on October 7th, 2023 was demonic in my book. Murder, decapitation, rape, and kidnapping describe the atrocities leashed on the victims that day. Age, gender, race, ethnicity, and any other intersectional group didn’t matter. You were in Israel and you weren’t one of them.

You weren’t a Hamas terrorist.

Attacks in Israel aren’t new. They have happened since Israel became a nation in 1948. From suicide bombings to frequent rock launches, Israelis are used to blaring sirens warning them to their bunkers.

Now Hamas has been a thorn in Israel's side since its inception in 1987.

Even though you see Hamas listed as the main combatant against Israel, in many cases they had help.
